Living Control Multiroom systems

Living Control's ‘invisible' multiroom systems liberate living space and décor by replacing the multiple hi-fis, radios and videos dotted all over the home with a single whole-house system stored out of sight. Utilising the most advanced home automation technologies, they allow the selection of CD, MP3, Radio, TV, Video and HD Video content ‘by name' in any room and even outside through discreet, stylish wall-mounted touch panels and keypads, and the latest generation of wireless Internet devices.

Living Control's choice of primarily wired connections gives these multi-room systems an unrivalled reliability and offers the flexibility to accommodate the very high bit-rate media, such as Full HD video, that purely wireless systems are unable to distribute.

But we do offer the convenience of a range of multiroom wireless control options to suit personal taste or circumstances. For areas of the house where a wired connection is either impossible or inconvenient, we provide a wireless control pad called the RFPad.

Alternatively, full system control is possible via PDAs, PCs and Macs or Internet Tablets like the Nokia N800. We've developed an interface that allows the N800 to show our MusicBoxNT Graphical User Interface (GUI) on its high resolution widescreen 65,000-colour display. Using the GUI, you have the freedom to select ‘by name' artist, album, play list or TV channel in any room, and the ability to download, store, control and enjoy web content such as podcasts, music files and news wherever you are in the home. You can even make calls via Skype (webcam built-in), send and receive emails with attachments. Living Control's ingenuity has transformed the N800 and similar wireless devices into mobile control panels for the entire Living Control multi-room control system, placing a limitless choice of information and entertainment options at your fingertips.
