SISTORE™ MX NVS is a software package for network video recording, allowing the operator to view live images, as well as to support recording, playback and remote access for up to 32 IP cameras per installed system. SISTORE MX NVS can be used in a wide variety of applications, including retail, banking, traffic and transportation, to name but a few. It fully supports the connection of a variety of network cameras (IP cameras) and video servers from different manufacturers. SISTORE MX NVS can be installed on high performance industrial PCs - optionally equipped via USB with alarm inputs and outputs - this network video software satisfies the requirement for special security applications to optimum effect.
This IP camera offers a compression standard that is inter-changeable between the MJPEG and MPEG4, which ensures highest flexibility and allows a system to be optimised depending upon image quality or bandwidth.
Used outdoor, day or night, the high performance CCD sensor enables very high light sensitivity to deliver outstanding images and as the camera supports MPEG4 as well as the international standard RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol), video streams can be replayed using standard PC video players such as, Quick Time or VLC. This ensures that the camera can be easily integrated into both new and existing applications.
Siemens hybrid technology also means that the camera can be transferred from a standard BNC connection present in traditional CCTV systems to a digital format (i.e. swapped from coaxial to Ethernet transmission) in order to remain future-proof.

The IP module CFVA-IP is especially designed for use with the indoor dome cameras.
Existing Dome Camera Systems can easily be upgraded to latest IP technology.
The integrated web server allows MJPEG compressed live images to be viewed using an http browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer from version 5.5 with Java plug-in or Mozilla or Netscape from version 7.0). A live player for standalone solutions is supplied with the IP module. The live video images supplied by this Siemens security system device can be embedded in dedicated HTML pages without difficulty.

The new Solaris™ day-night high-speed dome CCDS1415-DN includes an 18x optical zoom day-night (PAL) camera with exceptional low-light performance. A mechanically removable IR-cut filter allows the dome camera to provide good colour picture quality in the day mode and IR sensitive monochrome pictures in the night mode. The integrated 18x optical zoom enables the observation of large sceneries as well as recognition of small details.
